need a jeep mechanic..

Post by CCRBUM » Sat Dec 09, 2017 11:04 am

hey guys I have a 2003 jeep liberty renegade that is leaking oil from the oil pan and looks like rear main as well... I was gonna do it then discovered that I have to disassemble half the freaking jeep to do it... I can do trades with guns and possible come up with some cash for parts... right now I'm dumping oil in and trying to prevent damage to the engine. oil light comes on when I come to a stop and goes off when I start moving again.. not sure if the pump is going out or of something else is up... I' driving from florence to Lexington every 3rd day for medic class so I gotta get this fixxed.

Jeep mechanics only have 2 tools. A hammer and a bigger hammer lol! Good luck with it. Vehicle issues suck!

I'm tempted to fill it full of tannerite and blow it up... just tell the insurance company that there must have been a fuel leak and it just went up.

yeah anything four door in jeeps doesnt seem to be the wisest of purchases. I still have my 96 Jeep GC orvis edition sitting in my yard as a monument to them. I guess I did get over 200k out of it so can't really complain. I did like it alot. Every so often someone wants to come by and buy it to fix up. LOL, its too far gone. I see all sorts of young Millenial chicks buying these types and thinking they are cool. Wonder how long that lasts when the stuff breaks down. I see a lot of them for sale too.

Sorry you have to deal with this. Hope it works out for you!

Tannerite might be the best way to go.
