I kept thinking it was far away and that's why I didn't go. Damn this was right by me.

This is very graphically proven, here. Many subdivisions in this city are as large, or larger, than the entire city of Louisville.

Houston Metro is huge, 117 miles north to south, 96 miles east to west. It won't be long before Galveston becomes part of the Houston Metro area.

For those that care, we live on the far NW perimeter of HouMet.

Crush, kill, mangle, maim, destroy.

Exactly what I was getting at. I've lived in Dallas, Denver, LA area and the Bay area. Louisville is a tiny city.

Not a big Houston fan. TX is my favorite state though.

SOOOOOOOOO many seeexy little Latina/Caucasian mixed women in Texas. About all I've found I liked about it. My dad's dad's side of the family is all from Texas, mostly outside the Dallas area. Spent a little time down there over the years.

If I didn't have family here I would retire in TN or TX. I have a cabin/house already in TN and it's beautiful but it gets cold and rains more than in Louisville and TX is always nice.....ish.

This was one of the deciding factors in our decision to move here, along with the proximity to 2 of our 3 children.

I can tolerate heat way easier than the cold or constantly changing pressure in Louisville. Since we've been down here, my bad days are fewer in number & usually don't leave me stove up for days on end.
