Yes, at the top of the index on the right side, it says "Mark Forums Read". Or at the top of the root page for individual forums, in the same place, it says "Mark Topics Read". I had to do that earlier when Netto decided to spooge every thread with "Blitzkrieg".

I believe the difference is that if you have read every post on the forums, view unread comes back blank whereas view new shows the latest posts, read or not.
