Liking the layout, only suggestion would be to limit the page width a bit more or tweak the spacings to not seem so sparse on widescreen monitors. When I make this baby full screen I have to go on a field trip to find everything. Dynamic width is awesome (Another high-five for choosing PHPBB), just needs an upper limit in my humble opinion .

I made piktures to show what I mean; Just my personal preference; Everyone likes a different style, I think the site looks great anyhow and look forward to a long time here .

Your suggestions are great, I'll look into implementing them. I'm guessing not many people are viewing this at the resolution you are, but still good ideas.

I'm a big fan of the switch.. I didn't like having to click twice to get to a subforum.

late reply but open forum is much better IMO

I too hate all the clicking and it's much easier to browse
