Support for gifv and webm

Can we get support for embedding gifv and webm files? Webm/gifv files can be longer and of a higher quality than the standard (currently supported) animated gif files.

gifv is in the familiar gif presentation, just higher quality:

Webm is presented in "media player" like an embedded YouTube video that can be paused/searched through/played with various qualities:

I ASSume that whoever deals with our web/tech/forum support knows what I'm asking for, lol.

Basically a forum modification to allow embedded videos. We already have one form of this that recognizes YouTube videos via the {YouTube} tag, but expanding it to allow MOST video hosting sites, like Vimeo, and other formats would be nice. Not a huge emergency to fix or anything, just an improvement.
