I sent cranky a PM 30 minutes ago and it is still showing up in my outbox. BIGC posted earlier it took 3 hours for a PM to be sent. Does this mean they are not sent, or just not read yet?

Not read yet. PMs are sent instantly, they will remain in outbox until read by recipient.

I guess PM's are different than an email account? I know with Outlook the outbox is just a queue and if it stays in the outbox then it is not sent but hung in queue..
