You are correct to make the comments you do about it sucking. Unfortunately you've aimed them in the wrong direction. This is an issue of the Tapatalk plugin for the second most popular message board system on the web. PHPBB is quite robust. It's not UBB or YAF or ProBoards junk. The Tapatalk folks are the ones who have failed. As for vBulletin, it rules. It also has a 250 dollar license fee and takes an assload of time to configure, setup and import the PHPBB database. This is a totally free site, with an extremely active staff, that actually gives benefits to its members. It's a pretty good deal as it stands.

Mine is very recent, paid version, and is constantly updated automatically, and used on my Android phone. I'm not certain that the problem is on the client devices, but rather think that it must be with the server plugin, as it was figured out and rectified at one time, recently, only to flake out again shortly thereafter.

Besides that, I think too many people just post links and nothing else. I can go to drudge for that. You know who you are. At least post a comment or a brief summary of the link (aside from the thread title). I probably shouldn't even include this but it's a pet peeve.

This is more annoying to me than the double posts...well that and the fact that people think others can't read the news and feel the need to re-post tons of stories from the news here...you know who you are.

I enjoy most of the articles as well, especially since I sometimes have no time to sort through the dreck that is called 'news'.

Android here too, about half my posts are Tapatalk, and all that include pictures. Never had a double post. Seems to be an Apple issue.

It does seem like it may be an Apple only issue but I'm confident Apple isn't the culprit. If it were an IOS problem people would be double posting on the other forums and they aren't. I still maintain it's Tapatalk's issue. maybe only on their IOS version thought but it's TTs problem.

Just got taptalk android free and no dbls in maybe a month. Sucks its an issue on some installs. Still use the wrb interface sometimes too on the phone...surprised i used it so long tho
