Would a good name brand 1911 in my junk drawer be considered junk or a good 1911?

See. That’s the kind of nonsense the op asked people to refrain from. You said “good” and “1911” in the same sentence. Everyone knows that’s a mythical creature.

Careful, you know how some are about the 1911. You might trigger a jihad

What if my 1911 has a heart of gold, but also a bad boy persona, he’s a bully but only to hide his feelings. I mean he identifies as good but my revolver would tell you different.

True story. Even the cheap 1911s are great. No good ones exist!

This was light on the nonsense for this group.

Finding a good 1911 is not an easy task. You can pay outrageous price or you have to get lucky. I have a RIA that runs good had 2 that ran so so. The Wilson Combat runs like a champ.

I'm on my second Springfield and they run like the Energizer Bunny.

I gotta .45 acp 1911 style pistol that shoots and functions fantastic.
But it would take and act of god for me to even put a price on it!

I built it so it's special to me.

so does that sentence say No HIPOINT, 1911, or m9FS? or is it just saying NO HIPOINT. 1911 and M9FS is ok???

punctuation is fundamental

It's the latter, but it took way too long for me to realize that. Lol
