Army vet looking for a good name brand, NO HI-POINT. 1911 style or M9FS but open to any combat grade service weapon. Very motivated, no nonsense please

What if my 1911 has a heart of gold, but also a bad boy persona, he’s a bully but only to hide his feelings. I mean he identifies as good but my revolver would tell you different.

This was light on the nonsense for this group.

Finding a good 1911 is not an easy task. You can pay outrageous price or you have to get lucky. I have a RIA that runs good had 2 that ran so so. The Wilson Combat runs like a champ.
