I've had the axe for years, keep it in the door of my truck.. Used to have the knife in the handle but lost it a few years back and never did find it......

I thought I read somewhere that they recalled these because the knife would come out while using the Ax?

1st gen a few years back.. They fixed the issue and re released a couple years ago.. unless they are having new issues....

I have the ax with the saw in the handle.

Must of added a warning before re-releasing. Remove knife/saw from handle before using ax. Duh!

These seem to lock up pretty good...

Even without the knife, they make a nice small ax...very solid piece
