Collins Legitimus US issue
During WWII, one of these axes and a shovel (painted green) were hanging on side of every jeep. It was a favourite of the soldiers and ALWAYS seem to go missing. I've had this head for over a year waiting to find a good handle. A guy in Ohio has commissioned a batch from the Amish craftsman, 22" ash in the old style. I need to restore the head and make a sheath. Stay tuned, should be a fun hang.
