Second handle

Post by Netto » Sat Aug 29, 2020 2:49 pm

This turned out pretty good.

I’ve had some time off with nothing to do, so i just been working on this.

I wanted to duplicate those thin, whippy old school handles that i love much.

Very happy with it

For those who don’t know. Top is store bought 36” high quality Baker Pro Tools (USA). Bottom is a Killinger (axe junkie) 28” reproduced vintage slim taper handle.
The top one feels like a misshapen club that’s awkward to use. The bottom feels like a surgical tool handle fit for precision. Cost is -50% more but your hands will thank you.

PS: I buy the Bakers because they are chunky, lots of wood to reshape how I like them.
