Looking for a good but cheap throwing axe or axes to play around with in the backyard with the kids
Nothing too cheap that’s gonna break easy but I’m not looking hot high quality either.
What do you guy recommend or have??

Sog tomahawk, can be had around 25-30 bucks and they are good to go

Probably your best bet. Composite handle so it won’t break too easy.

Cold steel makes some moderate priced hatchets.

The fit on their wood handles sometimes isn’t great though.
