Back-up Generators - Best fuel?
Gasoline, diesel, or bottled gas?
I've got all three sources of fuel. My biggest is propane.

I would say, natural gas, if you are in an area that has it available.
Then you wouldn't have to keep refilling your fuel and your generator could probably be set up to use propane as a backup.

I agree, though I have heard of some systems that will run on nearly anything combustible, I have also heard they are very expensive and hard to come by.
Natural gas/propane seems to me the next best solution.
