About half the other eggs have pipped....
Pretty cool to hear them chirping inside their eggs....and to see the eggs moving around in the incubator..
Hopefully the rest do well....
First chick seems healthy and it made a clean getaway, pecking nearly a perfect circle around the shell, which is good.

One more chick hatched out but was still attached by it's cord to the shell earlier....
Have several more that were nearly out....
Decided to leave them be for a while and not disturb the incubator.....which is hard with 3 mother hens (ie wife n 2 girls) in the house, lol
I'll post more pics later when we check in on them....for those that find this interesting

Haven't updated in a while...
Chicks are right at 20 days old and growing quick....
I had 12 eggs that were confirmed fertilized and showed signs of growth via candling. 9 hatched perfect, 1 died in its shell and other two stopped development half way thru...not sure why. But that's a decent hatch rate I suppose.
