Turkeys

Post by ChickenLady » Tue Jul 23, 2013 8:46 am

I'm going to place a SMALL order for turkeys, talking 5 of them. There will be 4 available for purchase for Thanksgiving dinner. I am putting it here first. These will not be cheap, so don't go in thinking it will be grocery store pricing on a special for T day turkeys.

The price is going to be somewhere around 2.80 to 3 a pound. Average turkey weight will run about 20-35lbs. I will do a split turkey if two people want to split one. (just need to find a saw...)

These will be free range turkeys that will do what all turkey's seem to do.. which is eat bugs and be dumb. You could even come over and play with your turkey if you wanted to... which I'm not sure why you would play with a turkey but what the hey

I thought it was perfectly acceptable to play with your turkey, just not to choke your chicken...haha
