Anybody do any extreme camping/hiking there. 50/100 mile trails and such way into the back country. Me and my best friend are looking to do one next year.

I've wandered around the woods in the southern part of that forest.
Haven't been camping in years.
Lots of trails with few people on them down here.
Take a handgun for bear.
Take a rifle if camping, just try to keep a low profile with it.
You don't want to scare the sheeple or rangers.

I go to the natural bridge area yearly. It is possible to not see any other people for days. You will often hear people out there though. Its so quiet and sound travels across the ridge tops.
