Ive done this before with a friend on another car. Just dont have the tools or much of will.

If I paid someone say $80 cash and I pay for materials(fluids and the oil change and sppark plugs) any takers? I believe it should only take 2 hours. Diff fluids, spark plugs some grease, oil change and tire rotation should be the jist of it.

If im too low someone let me know.

I think 2 hours is optimistic.

3 hours? So $110? Im assuming about $70 in materials on my end with fluids, filter, and spark plugs. I believe it is $250 from a dealer to do 30k but not sure.

Im trying to find a happy medium on paying someone I dont know and taking on that liability vs the dealership where there is still liability, but someone to come after. I cant get a quote from the dealership since they dont pick up the phone and when they do, the stupid lady tells me the 30k is only an oil change!!! Took alot of convincing on my end to make her see otherwise.

Give Kaiser tire a ring in Jtown. Joe is a Dixie Highway guy. Fair prices. Been taking vehicles there for years.

Aren't most spark plugs good for 100,000 mile now?

If it has the 1GR engine, spark plugs are recommended maintenance. Labor time is .8 for those.
Also due at 30k is tire rotation, oil change, air filter, and cabin filter, also driveline service (2 grease fittings on driveshaft).
All together labor we charge is 2.3 and I work at Toyota dealership.

Diff fluid is not needed unless towing constantly.

Mine are not iridium. I Dont know why but mine need it every 30k. Id do it myself but I dont have that puller, last time I did it, I broke off some end of the spark plug. Friend just told me to leave it and he'd do it. I believe I basically watch him do it after I brought beer : )

Filters ive changed out myself.
Only towed from missouri to here once.
Its that driveline service where you grease up the bushings and spark plug change that worries me. Ugh. Maybe Ill go youtube it.

How much do dealerships charge per shop hour?

It is a TRD 4x4 model. Also has pesky 17" wheels which just cost me more money when I swapped out tires.
