What you have there is a AR-10B pattern mag which are basically modified M14 magazines. Current Armalites use SR-25 pattern mags.

I shouldn't have bought it not knowing for sure it wouldn't fit my rifles. It looked close. 
I don't own an Armalite, but wouldn't mind getting one. I don't think a 10 round mag justify's me buying a new rifle.
