American Guns Fail

Post by scorpionmain » Fri Jun 15, 2012 12:54 pm

American Guns on Discovery Channel built this custom rifle for a kid who shots cowboy action comps. He's a speed shooter so they put him up against one of their guys shooting a Mac with Lage upper. Anyone else see the episode?

Richard Lage, the man who makes the upper made a comment about it on another forum:
"Ya, I saw that. Called it a MAC 10 and said it fired 1,200 rounds per minute. Definitely a MAX-11 and a bunch of our accessories on that M-11/9.
Hey, it's reality TV, who expects it to be accurate or true?
Cool seeing it on TV though."

Looks like the kid didn't hit all his targets.

I got a belly full of that show 2 episodes in. That guy is a snake-oil salesman who grossly overprices his guns & does his level best to rip off the people he tries to buy from.

I wouldn't let him set foot on my property, and sure as hell would never do business with him. I rather do business with Red Jacket than ever do a deal with him.

I deal with honest people, Cranky & rext , for instance.

The reason you folks are so upset with the show is that you're watching it wrong. You're supposed to watch it with the volume off just to ogle at Paige. You'll come away with a smile that way.

She is cute but what's up with the Giraffe neck? Watch the show and her neck is almost twice as long as it should be.

I tend to agree with this guys opinion of the show.

Rich Wyatt = THUNDERDOUCHE

Anyone that knows dick all about firearms would laugh at these pricks. $1500 for that zebra M&P can blow me. Now if that were that included in the price...

These shows are all "tv" but at least it's all being shown in a positive point of view. To the masses who aren't into guns n such like all of us here. If they convert some more people into gun people then I support it. Def not the prices tho :)
