9mm SBR

SBR goes here. Have questions about trusts, gas systems, draco's, etc, ask away.

I'm not sure what I want. I'm thinking 8.5-10.5" barrel, just seems like a good size for 9mm. It could come down to what I can find in 1/2x28 though...haha

He didn't either. I happened to ask him a question about building a 9mm upper and he said, "Oh, those are in my car."

I think any ramped bolt will work otherwise you need a special hammer to use the standard bolt. Not sure about the PSA upper, need to research that some more. My barrel and kak stabilizer to do a pistol build has shipped already. Going to be a slow build for the remainder.

Does it have the stupid looking long ejection port or a smaller 9mm size hole?

Damn...I could see it happen real easy though.
So many barrels with that supid 1/2x36 thread. What a pain in the ass... A match grade 8-10" barrel would be sweet but every one I've found were 1/2x36. I want a upper that looks like it was made for a 9mm and that seems like it's going to be a problem also. Most have a large enough opening for 50cal...haha

you can't legally own any full auto made after 1986 unless you are a manufacturer or class three dealer
That's not what the news tells me.

What's the story on Tactical Ambush?
I'm always leery of companies that keep changing their name.
ie: Vulcan --> Heese --> Blackthorne --> Velocity Firearms?

There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Looks awesome other than the 5.56 ejection port. They are hard to find with the smaller port though.

I end up having to go with that, but don't like the looks of it. Just personal taste though. I figure as expensive as these damn things are I might as well make it the way I want it...
