I am about to start the Form 1 to get my tax stamp, eForms on ATF website pulled Form 1 so it looks like my option is paper. What is the likely hood of Louisville CLEO approving my request and about how long does that usually take. This form is all greek to me. Any help welcomed.

Didn't they get rid of the CLEO sign off?

Either way, you're looking at many months of waiting once it's filed

So that is covered under 41F but they still have the spot on the form, do I just leave blank? I just don't want to have to send in something wrong and then get moved to the back of the line.

Isn't it just a form now that is a Cleo notification? I think 41f eliminated the Cleo "sign-off." I've only submitted e-forms prior to the change though, so I'm not 100% on it.

Are you filing as an individual or with a trust?

You don't need a CLEO signature. You need need to send a completed copy of the form 1 to CLEO to serve as notification.

So when it says send in duplicate does that mean I send two to the ATF and one to CLEO or one to ATF and one to CLEO?

I read that check is the best option but I noticed they accept a debit card, is that option recommended or should I just keep with the check option.

I have always sent a check but I know a few people that have used credit/debit cards with not issues.
