AAC 7.62 CAN - Can ARRIVED!!!!

Anyone run an AAC 7.62SD can? Found one on Sale for $429 plus fees and kicking around getting it. Dealer picked up some of these from someone going under which is why the price is not over $600.

Questions are I did my .22 can with fingerprint card, but now wondering if I can do a trust for the new one and then move the .22 can onto it also.

Since it is 7.62 can I know it will do 308 and .223, but what about running it on an Armalite 762x39 AR? Any issues with that???.

Looking at reviews this can looks to be a good one. Seems a little heavy and muzzle devices are like $100 ea and I would like 3-4 of them.

Just can't decide if it is worth getting and going through the hassle.

Mike

It’s definitely a solid can. It’s an older but tried and true design. I don’t have that one but I do have a .556 and a 9mm can from AAC and I like them. That’s a hell of a deal on it too. You should be able to use it for anything 7.62 diameter and under so x39 should be fine. As for moving the other can from personal to a trust, I’m not certain but that may require an additional transfer tax stamp.

Yes. Unless somethings changed, you pay again just like a new transfer. Years ago they were talking about a 1 time transfer to trust for free, but I don't think it went anywhere.

muzzle devices can be found for $65 unless you want the break version. Its an great Can I have one.

I think you have to do finger prints with a trust now also includes everyone on it.

Yes you can move your.22 van to your trust. It’s another $200 stamp. Keep in mind that every person listed as a trustee on your trust must submit fingerprints and photos. You can set up the trust, purchase the items, the amend the trust with the new trustees afterward and not have to submit prints and photos. Of course, if you want to buy other regulated things later, you could amend it again dropping trustees so you are the only named person. Then another amendment adding them again. It’s a hassle but I know people that do it.

Thanks good to know. I hardly use my .22 can so not sure it's worth dumping roughly $800 into one when it is all said and done.
