Threaded barrels & adapters
Where's everyone's favorite threaded barrel and adapter store or site? I just ordered a G41 Lone wolf barrel straight from Lonewolf because they are the soonest (back ordered) available and best price I could find. I need a few more barrels and adapters though. I think I would like to stick with Lonewolf and Storm lake unless someone has some better alternatives. My Octane should only be a few more weeks out and need to start rounding up threaded barrels and/or guns.

Re: Threaded barrels & adapters
For cheap threaded barrels check out PSA
Storm lake are not as reload friendly as they have very tight chambers.
Lone wolf is a good all around design for the cost.
Adapters for .22 can be had direct from Huntertown arms or from adayton

Cool...Got my .22's covered pretty well. Need some adapters for 9mm barrels apparently and need to buy more 9mm and .45acp threaded barrels. I probably NEED to some more .45acp pistols also...haha

I went Storm Lake for a 1911 in 45 ACP. Haven't shot it yet, hope to this weekend.

Re: Threaded barrels & adapters
Does PSA have their own line of barrels?
Do you know anything about the Silencerco barrels? Like how they compare to Lone Wolf and Storm Lake in quality and accuracy?

I would love to hear your feedback on it. I need one for my Dan Wesson 1911.Vividia wrote:I went Storm Lake for a 1911 in 45 ACP. Haven't shot it yet, hope to this weekend.

Your suppressor would be approved before the barrel arrived and there's a good chance it would be the wrong barrel.RecoilSensitive wrote:http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.ph ... onite.html

Re: Threaded barrels & adapters
The Storm Lake barrels I got for my 1911s both work great. One needed a tiny bit of fitting, but a little light filing work fixed it right up.
Bear in mind, drop in barrels don't always just drop in.

Re: Threaded barrels & adapters
I got a Ed Brown threaded 1911 barrel and bushing coming. Can't wait to check it out. It was same price range as any other name brand barrel so I decided to check it out. Couldn't find one single review on it though. I have an older Dan Wesson so I figured it was a fitting barrel. I'll do a little review on it after a few rounds on it.
