Yeah, sad to say I'm pretty sure red jacket actually did do that before them....and I'm sure they probably weren't the first. I don't get why with a shotgun. Looks like it would make the end very heavy

No they are not the first to make it... the idea has been around for some time.

They are the first to commercially offer it.

I have been commenting on their facebook posts that it they need to make a thread adapter for my SPAS12.
What could be more tacticool than a SPAS12 with a can on the front?
