The waiting game.....

NFA suppressor discussion goes on here. Silencers, cans, the wonderful things that make it our firearms quiet.

The waiting game.....

Post by Vividia » Thu Jun 05, 2014 12:24 pm

I hate it!

In the works, somewhere in the bowels of the ATF:

SilencerCo Sparrow 22
SilencerCo Saker 762 (Changed my mind from the AAC 762 SDN6 just as I was hitting the buy key)

Not technically ATF issue yet but will be:
Kestrel 556 from the group buy here

One day I will get to play with my toys...wonder when?

Who else has suppressors in jail (or any other toy on a form-in-waiting)?

I have a Gemtech Halo in limbo. ATF cashed my check on Halloween, 2013. Hoping not too much longer. Will be getting another .22 suppressor in the group buy.

SilencerCo 556 Saker e-filed 2/13/14. I think I should have it in under a month. I hope they batch process mine so I can put my SBR together that I submitted in March.

Will be getting another .22 suppressor in the group buy. Not as anxious as I was for the first one but I would like it faster than the first one. It took 11.5 months!

Gemtech Outback II paperwork efiled March 18 of this year. 11 weeks down, 7-10 weeks to go. Plus a HTA Guardian 22 from group buy. Will probably get it out of jail next year, with efile down for form 4s.

I purchased my Silencerco Specwar 556 the day before efile went down. But the paper form 4's have made a huge leap in approvals according to silencershop.com. I'm thinking it will be 2015 by time I get my stamp.

Do it. You'll really like it. I'd suggest a bolt gun like a Savage MK II , too. Uber-quiet!
