I was looking at the Octane 45, but they have the Ti-rant on sale for $499.

Silencer shop is usually good to deal with. I can usually beat their prices though. Couldn't beat the price they have on the AAC Ti-Rant 45 right now. Crazy low. Good buy kyswede. Glad to do the transfer for you.

Got a PM from adayton today my stamp came in. 4 months and 2 weeks after check was cashed. Will be picking up silencer #2 on Friday. I have one more silencer waiting on tax stamp.

My stamp was approved on Dec.13, 3 months and 5 days after check was cashed. Only took 5 weeks to go from Atlanta to Louisville. I picked up my Guardian 22 today. 2 down, 1 to go. Until I decide I need another.

Got a call from Aaron today. I pick up my Ti-RANT 45 silencer tomorrow. 3 down and 1 to go. Plus a form 1 for SBR. No addiction here.

My most recent F4 was approved in right at 3 months, done on a trust.

And the wait begins

Post by iron369 » Fri Jun 05, 2015 10:45 am

How do you know all the dates associated with your NFA items? My form 4 was submitted on 3-25. I don't think they are even looking it up because nobody has even asked for the serial number. As soon as I tell them the submission date they tell me it's 8 weeks till its in the system. Oh, and it's been more than 8 weeks. I've called twice and got the same thing from 2 different people. And it was done with a trust.

ok I'm getting a little frustrated here. I sent my check ( two checks actually) to the Class 3 dealer about March 11th. The dealer cashed the check on March 24th for the suppressor. The other check to the Bafte was supposedly sent on the 25th according to the dealer. They still have no record of anything and the check hasn't been cashed. I contacted the dealer today, but have not gotten a response as of yet. I'm at a loss as to what to do. Suggestions?

I don't remember your story, but did your class 3 dealer have the silencer you bought in stock or was it on a form 3? Forms 3 might take a couple months, and then the F4 is filed.
