Just a side note for anyone thinking about buying one that is registered,of course don't accidentally shoot your gun with the cleaning adapter attached because it would be an NFA violation, but pay attention to this part.
The oil filter adapter that is registered, the oil filter that comes with the adapter is registered with the same number. It is in fact a suppressor part and cannot be replaced by the owner. As a silencer part the original manufacturer would have to destroy the original part(filter) and re engrave the replacement. They offer this as a service to comply with NFA rules. It does cost a little but they offer it. If you simply replace the filter, you have manufactured new suppressor parts in violation of the NFA.
I know,pretty silly. I bought a few a while back and still have not gotten them. Just a friendly heads up so there are no surprises.
