KAC OC cards.
Earlier I was poking around on google looking up OC laws and some other things I wanted to try to remember if I was ever stopped for OC'ing around town. I stopped to watch this video and at one point it shows them handing the officers a "OC card." I know KAC is still getting off the ground but I thought it would be nice to start this off with a informational thread/idea.
How about a business card with KAC logo/website address. And on the back list the seemingly most important OC laws statutes and the statues as to giving your id etc to a LEO asking for it without reason(if you wanted to argue that part.) More or less a way to give the LEO's who don't know there own laws something to take back to their car and look up statues... I know they all have internet one sits in the parking lot by where I work and plays on facebook for a few hours every day just about.
Thoughts?

@2:15 the card comes out, everything goes downhill from there for the police. No arguing, no fighting, no arrests.

Re: KAC OC cards.
Good vid, great on the Restaurant manager! So, some customer must have called the police and I understand that the LEO MUST respond if there is a call, but the LEO (allegedly) attempting to coerce the manager into asking the OC party to leave, so they could then be charged with trespassing goes beyond their duty. They are supposed to be deescalating a situation and instead it appears they were trying to escalate it into something troublesome.
Glad it all turned out okay.

I have no intention of filming the police lol I usually just walk away instead of standing there repeatedly not giving them what they want. You just look like a jackass then.

I ate lunch with BIGC and Selleck Sunday at Long John Silver is Shepherdsville. I didn't realize Selleck was OCing until we were leaving, or I would have tucked in my shirt and revealed the 45 I was carrying IWB.

I don't want our logo on anything that would get negative attention. Giving this to an officer who doesn't know the basic laws will surely be pissed if you are the one to school him. I don't need anymore angry cops around.

I agree with not wanting pissed off Leo's. But if kac comes out with tshirts etc and you happen to be wearing one when you were to get stopped for oc. Just a thought.

Not exactly the same as having a card that says "here's the rules. F-u" on the front and "love, KAC " on the back?Ian wrote:I agree with not wanting pissed off Leo's. But if kac comes out with tshirts etc and you happen to be wearing one when you were to get stopped for oc. Just a thought.

Re: KAC OC cards.
It should never be about here's the rules... Fu.... Just more or less if/when someone gets stopped for oc'ing it would make sense for someone to say hey your infringing on my rights given to me by this very government. If your going to argue with me about my rights here are the specific statues in which I am given these rights.KYgundude wrote:Not exactly the same as having a card that says "here's the rules. The t-shirt deal was basically if you were going to get stopped and you are wearing a kac or the other site shirt its going to be pretty obvious were they can find you.
