You keep hearing X number of people are killed with ("by" in left speak) guns every year so the question is

What % of these people killed were engaged in some sort of criminal activity, career or other wise, at the time of being shot?

I'm sure that could be pulled out of the stats, but they'll never do it.

No they do not.

Here they are (2011)

8583 Homicides by firearm
400 JUSTIFIABLE homicide by cop
260 JUSTIFIABLE homicide by civilian

over 12k homicides total

How about these facts:
