Seven years for each magazine. Welcome to NY.

NY Army Veteran Charged With Illegal Pistol Magazines, Faces 21 Years In Prison

There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

I hope he's able to beat the charges. I don't agree with the law at all, but it is the law. He knew the risk he was taking having "high capacity magazines" in a state that doesn't allow them. It's difficult to feel sorry for someone that knowingly breaks the law-however stupid it may be-and gets caught. We are not a FREE people.

its like having a unregistered suppressor in KY ...you know the law...

and before someone says the NFA is different...likely not. You wouldn't get much penalty in this state.
