I hope he's able to beat the charges. I don't agree with the law at all, but it is the law. He knew the risk he was taking having "high capacity magazines" in a state that doesn't allow them. It's difficult to feel sorry for someone that knowingly breaks the law-however stupid it may be-and gets caught. We are not a FREE people.

its like having a unregistered suppressor in KY ...you know the law...

and before someone says the NFA is different...likely not. You wouldn't get much penalty in this state.

He ought to be glad he's not in NJ. Possession of ANY hollow point round is a felony with 7 years penalty, plus an additional year for each additional round.
