YouTube sponsors are bitching about the ads that are showing on videos. So instead of YouTube developers flagging only the ads, they are terminating anything 2A related.

Currently they have changed all gun related videos to age restricted which means that ads can not be ran on those videos. In return there is less money to sponsors

They have known about this for years and there two other places that were created to host gun videos without youtube. People keep going to youtube because they are already there for other videos as well.

Its a private company, they can put on what they want.
I hate the ads anyways!
Youtube was so much better before these amateur media makers tried to make a buck. Thats why hickok 45 is still such a strong channel, his filming sucks, he is not very good on camera, but he is real and true.

You don't think he makes a buck? He makes more than most of the "amateurs". It's easy to look up what they make publicly.

Not bad for a retired school teacher from Franklin Road Academy down in Nashville, estimated around $1M for the past income of his youtube channel....I guess that is realistic given some of the stats I have heard about other people.
