Nothing to see here, move along.WLJ wrote:I think they're playing around with the rating on IMDB.
It had dropped to 6.5 which would make it the lowest of any of the Marvel movies. As of this morning it jumped to 7.1.
May be nothing
But Shelton handled things the right way -- saying he called police immediately and explained the situation ... and cops were cool when they came to collect the weapon.
In fact, cops told Shelton they see similar situations with guns left in rental cars "all the time."

http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2018/0 ... quote-day/“It is possible that in a country with just as many guns as ours – but with better systems of education and mental health; or a less cutthroat economic system and more generous welfare state; or a less troubled racial history and stronger sense of social solidarity; or a less toxic ideal of masculinity and more women in positions of power, Nikolas Cruz wouldn’t have turned Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School into a warzone this week. But it is a certainty . . .
that if our gun ownership rate was comparable to that of our peers in the developed world, we could remain every bit as messed up as we are today, and still witness far fewer atrocities like the one Cruz perpetrated.” – Eric Levitz, Guns Make Republicans Feel Safe. So We Can’t Be.
Pointing out that this crap didn't start happening so often until they started pushing their left wing agenda down our throats means nothing to them. Irish drug company Horizon Pharma has hiked the price of a two-in-one painkiller by more than 2,000 percent in the past five years, according to a report in Financial Times
A 60-pill bottle of the drug combo, Vimovo, cost $138 in 2013 when AstraZeneca sold it to Horizon. The bottle now costs $2,979 after Horizon raised the price on 11 occasions.
Vimovo is a combination of the common painkiller naproxen and esomeprazole. Naproxen is the active ingredient in Bayer’s over-the-counter painkiller Aleve. A side effect of naproxen is gastrointestinal issues, including stomach pain and heartburns. As such, Vimovo combines it with esomeprazole, a proton-pump inhibitor that treats heartburn. Esomeprazole is sold over the counter by AstraZeneca as Nexium.
Bought separately, the two can cost as little as $36 total
Drug maker hikes price of 2-in-1 painkiller >2,000%—$36 drugs now $3,000Horizon also makes the two-in-one painkiller Duexis, which pairs painkiller ibuprofen with the antacid famotidine. The company charges $2,979 for a 90-pill bottle, while the drugs would cost as little as $15 if bought separately.

I do *not* support *any* new firearms restrictions. In fact, I oppose them vehemently. But I am perfectly willing to have a discussion on the issue with anyone.
2) We must stop focusing on the hard line anti-gunners and work on appealing to those in the middle on this issue. If we don’t, we will lose. And soon.
We need to stop acting like petulant children.

2) Correct, most of the hardliner are not going to change their opinion. But we but never fighting them and let our guard down, they pounce on any opening they can.
Florida Teacher of the Year's gun violence post goes viral after school shooting“Until we, as a country, are willing to get serious and talk about mental health issues, lack of available care for the mental health issues, lack of discipline in the home, horrendous lack of parental support when the schools are trying to control horrible behavior at school (oh no! Not MY KID. What did YOU do to cause my kid to react that way?), lack of moral values, and yes, I’ll say it – violent video games that take away all sensitivity to ANY compassion for others’ lives – as well as reality TV that makes it commonplace for people to constantly scream up in each others’ faces and not value any other person but themselves, we will have a gun problem in school,” the sixth-grade language arts teacher wrote.
