Heck the dia of the earth was measured to a fair degree of accuracy with nothing more than sticks and shadows cast by the sun in Egypt. Oh wait that may have been a govt conspiracy too.

It cracks me up to hear people say the earth is flat. It is pretty simple to prove that the earth is a sphere. From space, no matter what angle anyone has ever taken a picture, the earth is round. If it was flat, occasionally, it would appear as if you were looking at the edge of a Frisbee. The earth is not a Frisbee. Therefore, it cannot be flat. Not to mention the whole curvature thing. Although, living on a Frisbee might be more fun?!? You know, with the weed and all....

But they don't believe any pictures are from space. To be fair, most of the earth pictures you can find are altered and enhanced etc. Not a ton of real photos from actual cameras and real person views. That being said, good luck in your rocket bro, hope it lands on a flat part.
