Look into whatever brand you like indoor soccer shoe. They are usually perfect lifting shoes, driving I'm sure also. Thin, can feel everything, and still somehow comfortable and supportive at the same time.

I think just about every damn company has some BS going on these days that makes you not want to buy from them. As far as shoes go I really like under armor. Some of the most comfortable and light tennis shoes I’ve had in a long time.

They'll probably do what Spikes did with their pirate lower. Charge people $300 after saying they're only going to be a limited run and then a year or two later start mass producing and sell the exact same lower for $100
