Fucking people man. I work in the portland neighborhood not to far from there. Luckily my plant is right between the police station and the rail yard. Railroad cops don't mess around. Hope the scum bag shoots himself in the dick and victim makes a full recovery.

I ran a route down there for 8 years. Yes, the majority do (Have a regard for life), lots of Churches through out the West End and decent people. I made lots of friends down there and I knew who was decent and who was full blown ghetto. I'm not going to get into numbers but if my motorcycle broke down at night is rather it be in prospect than the west end. Anyone disagree? That's how I rank things. There are good and bad everywhere but certain zip codes have a lot more crime than others and it shows.
