There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Re: The Purge in Louisville?
True but we must treat this like terrorism. The idea of terrorism is to strike fear in people. To make them stay home because they are afraid of what might happen. I will NOT be subject to that bullshit. I go where I go. I do what I do. You might shoot me. I might shoot you but I'll be dammed if I'm going to make a left when I want to make a right because some teenage fucking punk wants to show how big he thinks his nuts are.GeminiXD9 wrote:While I agree for the most part, what happened at waterfront is still fresh in my mind. Majority of police will be working the fair and other high traffic areas most likely. That leaves a lot of places that are open game. Do I think it'll be like the movie? No. But I bet some little hoodrats aomewhere will be trying to capitalize on it. And I'll carry as usual prolly with an extra mag or so. But more than anything my threat level will be up just a notch or 2. I usually have good situational awareness anyways but it'll be higher tonight.KYgundude wrote:My money says there wont be any violence at all. If they really wanted this to work they would have found a more underground communication rather than make every LEO within 100 miles prepare for it so they can't pull it off. This was meant to scare us and to inconvenience law enforcement. I'll carry the same way as I always do but I'm not changing anything about my routine over this.

Re: The Purge in Louisville?
The lady called me during her lunch. A few of her clients and other women are ready for it. One had her husband with her for protection. Sad thing is he's about as effective as a yorkie. Told her let them cackle

Wife is armed. I'm armed as usual. No plans changed. Just loaded up a bit more than usual. I don't even live in louisville.
Let the stupidity commence. I'm not worried.

A cop stopped me on the street and said "we're looking for a mugger who fits your description" , so I said "okay I'll do it".

As far as this whole purge thing goes, even if this were real and encompassed the whole north central portion of the state I'd have nothing to worry about. I've never even seen a trick-or-treater at my house.
