We vote them in and out. There doesn't need to be a limit. It would be a shame if someone got in there that you liked and did everything right only to be sent out because of an arbitrary time frame. If we are too stupid to vote bad ones out then shame on us. A time frame doesn't mean the next will be better, it could mean a worse one gets in quicker.

A graduate teaching assistant has been criticized after trying to alienate and target students who conceal carry weapons in her classroom, labelling them as “absurd, antisocial, and frightening” and forcing them to stand in a “3X3 taped square.”

“If you feel that it is somehow at all appropriate to bring a gun to class (hint: it is not…),” the controversial University of Utah teacher wrote in a section of her syllabus, then the students would be forced to stand in a “Second Amendment zone.”

While the public school instructor acknowledged the students’ right to bear arms, she claimed she has the “right to restrict elements of the Second Amendment in my own classroom” like a “free speech zone.” The assistant said those students would be forced to stand in a “3x3 taped square on the floor in the very back of the classroom…This zone does not include a desk because desks are reserved for students who respect the personal and psychological safety of their classmates and instructor.”

RAWLINS (WNE) — Following a shooting incident in Riverside which left one female victim hospitalized late last month, two suspects, Scott David Drumm, 49, and John Henry Lee Stilley, 75, pleaded not guilty to a multitude of charges during a Monday hearing.

The charges for both suspects included attempted involuntary manslaughter. Other counts included aggravated assault and battery as well as reckless endangerment.

A little after noon on July 30, authorities responded to a report of a Riverside residence being struck by gun fire. According to court records, a female resident had been making lunch in the kitchen when she was struck in the knee by a stray bullet.

Upon investigation the following day, it was discovered that the bullet which struck the victim had traveled a total of 632 yards from its original discharge point.

According to court records, both Drumm and Stilley were firing at a target erected behind a house whose address is technically in Encampment, which rests north from where the victim was struck.

The suspects were taken into custody the day of the shooting.

On August 24, the pharmaceutical company announced they would be ending the sponsorship of the 26-year-old driver ahead of the NASCAR Xfinity race scheduled for August 25. Lilly confirmed in a statement that its partnership with Daly, who primarily races for IndyCar, was intended to raise awareness for treatment options and resources for people living with diabetes.

"We remain committed to our mission of supporting people with diabetes.”

In a statement, the elder Daly said he admitted to using a racial slur for African-Americans during a radio interview in the early 1980s. Derek Daly, who had just moved to the United States then, said the term had a different meaning and connotation in his native Ireland. He said was "mortified'" when he learned how the term was used in the United States and has never used it since then.

"I asked him what happened. He said he got in trouble for saying 'yes ma'am'," explained Wilson.

Confused by his response, Tamarion pulled out a sheet of paper with the word "ma'am" written on it four times per line on both sides. He says his teacher told him to write the word on the sheet because he kept referring to her as "ma'am" despite her instruction not to. As part of his punishment, Tamarion had to have the paper signed by a parent.

An anesthesiologist used a yoga ball filled with carbon monoxide to kill his wife and daughter in 2015, prosecutors told a Hong Kong court Wednesday.

Khaw Kim-sun allegedly left the exercise ball filled with the gas in a locked car with the two women, where it slowly leaked carbon monoxide and killed his wife and 16-year-old daughter, the BBC reported. Khaw pleaded not guilty to “two counts of murder.”

An autopsy determined the doctor’s wife and daughter died from carbon monoxide poisoning. While investigating, police discovered a deflated yoga ball in the car near where the two bodies were found. The South China Morning Post reported a jogger found the bodies in the parked car.
