People NOT picking up their CCDWL in Jefferson County

This doesn't make sense to me. Is the Sheriff's office that busy that they are receiving licenses faster than they are being picked up ? It doesn't say how many are being processed monthly.

IMO it's because most people applying work normal job hours. Aka it's impossible to get downtown to the sheriffs office in a timely manner without having a day off work.

Yeah the no parking signs were way up high. I was lucky because the police wrecker was hooking a car up two spots in front of me.

I work downtown most of the time and I'm literally out on the street corners. I'm always asked where the sheriffs office is and most people are eager to give up the information that they are picking up their ccdw permits. I had two people tell me today.

They get a lot of them here. No effort at all to get one in Bardstown.

Jefferson County needs a sheriff's office that is better accessible. I hate having to pay $4 to park, 10 minutes of walking and waiting 5 minutes for those ancient crusty elevators. That place makes bank, no reason not to get a better building or satellite location.

Pretty easy in Bullitt county. Hours aren't great, but parking is easy and free.
