With all this stay at home time, I finally get time to expolre and do fun projects. I looked at several designs and couldn't find one I liked 100%. So I found pieces of the design I liked from here and there and assembled my own design.
I started with a good kustomer quality barrel head, ran it through the planer a couple of times to get it flat. (still looking for a good source for barrel heads)
Ok, time to "laser". Masked off the entire barrel head, aligned it on the laser bed and hit RUN. Watches Deadpool (yes again) and had a few adult beverages while this process went on - 97 minutes 32 seconds estamated run time.

Almost done, I still have to "weed" the rest if the masking (hundreds of tiny flecks), a final sanding and finishing. Out ofthe 26 barrel heads I've done I finally made one for ME!

Find me a good sorce for resonably priced blanks and we'll talk. Finding good blanks is getting tough.
