I sold a project and was going to make another for myself.

But then I thought “I can do anything I want, it’s mine”. So I’m really going to challenge my self by doing it the hardest way possible. I will carve the axe head out of walnut and then will fit a handle of hickory.

Here’s the start....

Just phucking around the shop doing this and that then BAM! The axe head is 85-90% done.

Ok, holy phuck what a night. I cut out the handle and did some rough shaping. Now to start fitting the head. Image

I got it seated on the shoulder and still need to do some more shaping and contouring of the head as well as shape the handle. That’s all for tonight. Time for an adult beverage.
