Off Road Lighting

Post by Toddstang » Sat Jan 17, 2015 9:36 pm

I was originally looking for some off road lighting from RIGID, but their prices were :o
I stumbled upon Bulldog lighting, made here in the US and their prices beat the Hell out of Rigid.
Just an FYI for you off roading guys.

Rigid pricing is ridiculous and I've heard they have been outsourced to Chinese production. OHV Lights aren't bad from what I've seen. I need a pair of pods for my ditch light brackets

My buddy also highly recommends digidiodes.

I'm still in the market for an LED bar for my truck. I don't think they are illegal to use on the roadways here in KY either(can't find an applicable statute if they are)

Ky has no 'highway road use' statutes for accessories/lighting. If you're running them down I264 blinding drivers, you're gonna get pulled over eventually when you blind an officer. -Same as high beam/brights.

I have had a manufacturer from China contact me multiple times wanting me to carry there led products light bars and fog lights. They come with a 1 year warranty and are a 1/10 the cost of rigid lights. But never committed to getting any to see the quality

Reviews I have read on Chinese is that they leak or hold moisture and some of the wiring harnesses have caught fire.
I guess its like buying scopes. Get what you pay for.

Those double d's are priced decent for pods. May try those.
I've also looked at lifetimeleds.com (I think that's the site). Decent price and claim to have a lifetime warranty

Yes and if you blind an officer that is sensitive to light it may get you stopped. Ask me how I know.
