Couple new favorites from the cruise ship...

Elderflower Martini

2oz hendricks gin
1 oz elderflower liquor
1/2 jigger of amaretto
1/2 jigger of lemon juice

Shake and strain into a martini glass. OMG YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM

Basil Smash

Muddle basil with plenty of ice.
Add:

2oz gin
1/2 jigger lemon juice
cane syrup to taste
club soda

Shake well. Strain into a rocks glass with ice.

It's like the best thing ever before dinner

Or the mint lemonaide?! A bartender made this for me randomly and I became addicted to it.. more so than the tom collins..

2oz gin
1oz lemon juice
Muddle mint in ice, add the above, strain into a collins glass with ice in it. Top with club soda.

I'm doing my homebrew. Got a Amber Vanilla Ale and a Used Diesel Oil on tap now. Gotta watch the intake levels tho! :-)

I find it depends on the bourbon. Some it improves while others it waters dowm the flavor.
