Wonder if anyone else enjoys these things as much as I do. But footing the bill to the local joint gets old at $14 bucks each... No matter how much I talk to the owner he won't budge on what he uses...

I just buy fajita seasoning in a large jar at Sam's, add bell peppers, tomatoes, and a little lemon. Works every time.

I use cumin, coriander, pepper, salt, lots of chilli powder, and assorted habenero/Serrano/etc. Peppers.

Lime juice, beer (Dos Equis is preferred), & dry Italian dressing mix, with some serrano & poblano chilis , sliced onions, green onions, bell peppers (whatever color you like), all marinated together, then wrapped in foil & grilled. When the meat is done & the veggies are tender, remove the meat to grill to finish then slice against the grain & add the veg .

Fresh corn tortillas, guacamole, refrained beans, spanish rice, & more beer to wash it down with & you are shittin' in tall cotton!

This is a genuine recipe taught to me by Amalita (a Mexican grandmother) of a close friend in Texas. Try it, I can guarantee you won't be disappointed.
