Which optic for AR pistol?
I decided to put a red dot scope on my AR pistol. I have a budget of $200. I looked at a few on Aim Surplus website last night. I liked the Vortex strikefire with 2x magnifier. I am curious what others use on their ARs, especially Mtchbrian, since I shot his pistol at New Haven.

If you are on a budget, I would recommend either the Vortex SPARC or a Primary Arms micro dot. I personally prefer the Aimpoint T1/H1 over all, but that is quite a bit more expensive.

PA microdot for the the money your working with. That x2 magnifier that comes with the spark is junk. I would go for so,etching with unlimited eye relief.

Re: Which optic for AR pistol?
other than the PA micro losing its zero, i like it.
(conditions were not normal, about 700-800 rds in less than an hour, the dot drifted off and would not stay zeroed at all)
edit: I did send that one back to PA and they sent me a new one, but it won't be used for anything but light range time, prob on the AR pistol
