Eotech Clone
I'm interested in getting an Aimpoint or Eotech style sight in the near future, but they are pretty expensive. Since I don't need the nightvision capabilities of the Eotech would a clone be a decent option?
Here are some links to a couple I am considering.

Re: Eotech Clone
Can't say I reccomend it. Try primary arms. If you buy from amazon you may end up with an airsoft sight that don't have enough adjustment to even zero. Not to mention the reliability issue.

Re: Eotech Clone
I just bought a red dot and magnifier combo with all of the mounts for $268 shipped. Out of the box they seem like great pieces and I like the mounts. I have yet to get to the range with them though.

Friend of mine spent 200 on a eotech clone and it wouldn't zero. Ran out of adjustment.

Re: Eotech Clone
If you are on a budget I would look at either primary arms or vortex optics. Personally I wouldn't go any cheaper than that on anything over a .22

Re: Eotech Clone
+1 for Primary Arms........nice products, great customer service......
I definately wouldn't spend $200 on a EoTech clone........I've owned a few clones myself, but I bought them cheap, cheap.....Just saying if your going to spend $200, you can do better than a clone.....

Re: Eotech Clone
I only paid $300 for my eotech slightly used, so yeah, no way I'd pay $200 for a knock off

Re: Eotech Clone
The clones I'm looking at are in the $80 range so its a much bigger gap to step up to the full on Eotech. For now it would just be going on my AK as well. The AR won't be finished until I save up enough to get the upper.

I like Primary Arms, but can't recommend it for heavy/duty use. Range weapon to shoot occasionally, sure.

Eotech Clone
X2 for vortex, after calling their customer service last week. I haven't doubt in my mind that if you break one of theirs I any way they would replace it.

Re: Eotech Clone
Vortex is top notch is my book as well. Had a replacement scope in two days after I called primary arms about a scope I purchased through them. Vortex also included a shipping label to mail it back to them.86 slo-vo wrote:X2 for vortex, after calling their customer service last week. Eotech Clone
They shipped me a mount and a battery free of charge and it was on my door step a day and a half later. I didn't buy it new either. I'll buy a new one from them next time.
