10/22 glass and mount

Looking for opinions on a good quality, easily adjustable scope in around 3-9x40 maybe. Also what rail to use? Probably will never reach out past 100 yards. Mostly will be used for Appleseeds, playing in the backyard. Under $200 total would be nice. But if there's a MUCH better option but it's a little over that, I may be interested in it also.

I have a Nikon pro staff 3x9x40 for .22 with DNZ 10/22 mount. It's been a great setup and at optics planet it would be right around $200. Maybe a little more for the ride.

I've got an old Simmons 3-9 on my 10/22 with direct mount see through scope rings so the irons can still be used. Think I paid less than $100 for everything over 10 years ago and it still works great.

I would like to stay smaller and lower powered on this. Looks like a very good option for my FVSR though...

BSA Sweet .22

I went through this same search last year, looked at all of them; read reviews on 3-4 I narrowed it down to. The BSA was about $50, and it is amazing.

I just purchased a Leupold VX1 2-7 x 28 and mounts for a 10/22. Very clear and bright glass.

Both good options also... 2-7x28 is a nice, small, lite option.

Dunno if you're still looking but Cabela's is closing out some Vortex scopes for excellent prices, esp 4-12x40

Nice! 6-18x44 also. The FVSR may need an upgrade at those prices too...haha

I'm a sucker for a deal... Ordered both. I think I'm more excited about the 6-18x44 for the FVSR though. That thing will be a seriously sweet and silent tack driver!
