Target camera

So I have been toying with the idea of a target cam with live feed back to an led screen. Going to be about $170 in parts to build it and 2 hours to build one. Does anyone think there would be interested people in a device that would be able to transmit 1500 yards at a 300$ price point. Not sure it's really something I would want to get big but thought it might supplement my growing suppressor addiction.

I got a GoPro that connects via Bluetooth to my tablet...

Used it as such a couple of times... it's pretty handy when sighting in a rifle...

I can also pause, play, record etc...

Longest distance I've used it was about 200 yards...

I dunno...I'm kind of cheap and tend to DIY most stuff like that, but I would guess for that price point you'd be able to sell a few... cool idea IMO

I'm surprised you got Bluetooth to work that far. The transmitter/ receivers I was looking at are 5.8ghz

Same idea, but 1500 yards would be a lot further than they go

Yeah I had not seen those. The enclosure I'm building would be 1/4" steel basically bulletproof at ranges where you would have to worry about missing a call and taking a chance of shooting it.

Nice. I've seen ads for the ones I linked popping up on FB, that's why this sounded familiar.

Kinda makes a spotting scope obsolete

Exactly on not needing a spotting scope. I could add pan and tilt if someone wanted multiple targets also could have multiple cameras and one lcd viewer.

Well, there you go. Straight from the horses mouth. This is one of those "why didn't I think of that" things.
