Okay I am looking for a new EDC light. doesn't have to be real fancy but does have to meet a few specs

~100 lumen
AA BATTERY
LED
small enough to carry daily in dress pants or jeans

Hands down Streamlight Sylus Pro for the money... AAA though.

I use the extended life Energizers AAA from work and they last a good 6 months.

I carry a streamlight protac. I believe they make it in a AA version

Does the stylus have a decent beam throw? Have to look around pipe chases at sprinkler heads about 30ft up.

I gave a 2xAA ThruNite Archer 2A V3 as an Xmas gift. 500lumens. 30ft is...no problem, lol.

Eneloop batteries for aa/aaa sizes are my pref.

30' should be no problem... Swing by work if you're in the area. I nearly always have 2 with me.

Taklite TA-50 usb rechargable, 400 L, 5 mode light. This thing will hold it's charge indefinitely, unused. This is the one I keep on my nightstand because it always works, no surprises.The high beam lasts over 2 hrs continuous use. The pocket clip makes it really easy to carry.

I like it almost as much as my My Fenix P3Ds, which are no longer made.
